A FESTIVAL OF MUSIC, SWEET AS COTTON CANDY

  • Wheat Ridge Center for Music and Arts 7580 West 38th Avenue Wheat Ridge, CO, 80033 United States (map)

The saying goes, April showers bring May flowers.  However, in Colorado, it probably should be May snow can help the garden grow. Springtime in the Rockies can be hot summer days for playing outdoors or cold, snowy days which are perfect for making snowmen, but whatever the case, May can be the springboard to a summer of fair play, fair food and fair fun.

Our final concert of the season will set the stage for the festivals, fairs and patriotic events that highlight the summer months.  Experience the fun, thrills and excitement of going to the fair or circus with the artistry, beauty and excitement of brass music.  Music by Irving Berlin, Rimsky-Korsakov and John Phillip Sousa will be the highlight of our concert on Saturday, May 18, 4 PM at the Wheat Ridge Center for Music and Arts. Let’s all go to the fair with Rocky Mountain Brassworks!
