Rocky Mountain presents “Legends & Landscapes”

Saddle up for a thrilling afternoon of cinematic sound as Rocky Mountain Brassworks presents an exciting concert of iconic Western film music on Saturday, April 25 at 4:00 PM at the Wheat Ridge Center for Music and Arts.

This bold program features unforgettable themes from The Magnificent Seven, The Big Country, Silverado, A Fistful of Dollars, and Paint Your Wagon—music that captures wide-open landscapes, high drama, and the spirit of the American West, all brought to life in brilliant brass.

The concert will also spotlight special guest soloist Ryan Gardner, Professor of Trumpet at CU Boulder, performing Joaquín Rodrigo’s beloved Concierto de Aranjuez. This timeless masterpiece, known for its hauntingly beautiful melodies and emotional depth, offers a striking contrast to the cinematic power of the program and showcases the trumpet at its most expressive.

Whether you love film music, virtuosic solo performances, or the thrilling sound of live brass, this concert promises an inspiring and memorable musical experience.
